Welcome to Karangahake School, a community-minded institution located in the beautiful town of Karangahake, New Zealand. Karangahake School is a U2, full primary school, catering to students from Year 0 to Year 8. Currently, we have a dedicated team of 3 teachers and 2 support staff, ensuring that our students receive the attention they need to thrive academically and personally. With a funded roll of 68 students, we are able to maintain small class sizes in our fully modernized and well-resourced classrooms.

Conveniently located just 6.4km from Paeroa, our school serves students from Karangahake, Waikino, and Paeroa. To ensure easy transportation, we provide a school van that doubles as a bus service, driven by one of our licensed support staff.

At Karangahake School, we foster social interaction and peer leadership across all year levels. Our students display excellent care for one another and have numerous opportunities to lead events. Inside the classroom, we encourage critical thinking, personal growth, and cooperative skills. We offer individual learning programs tailored to each student's needs and celebrate their successes. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a highly motivated group of parents who work tirelessly to provide extra resources and experiences for our students. Through successful fundraising efforts such as bake sales, raffles, and Housie hot pot nights in Paeroa, they ensure that our students have access to the best possible educational opportunities.
