The process of Car Compliance involves three major steps: Vehicle Trimming, Inspection, and the issuance of a Warrant of Fitness Sticker. During the Vehicle Trimming stage, your vehicle's interior trim is dismantled to allow our TSD agents to inspect its condition and structure, including seats and seat belts. This step also involves gathering all necessary documentation, capturing vehicle standards, assigning a VIN Plate, and refitting the interior.

Next, your vehicle moves to our inspection hoists for a comprehensive inspection of the underbody and mechanical components. Our skilled team strips underbody panels and brake pads to thoroughly examine the brakes, suspension, tires, engine components, and overall vehicle structure. All mechanical parts are measured and inspected to ensure compliance with OEM minimum requirements set by NZTA. The inspection concludes with a check of your vehicle's emissions, lighting, and braking systems.

If your vehicle meets all requirements, our TSD agent will issue a Warrant of Fitness sticker (WOF) and provide the MR2A form for registration. In case repairs are needed, we will provide a quote and give you the option to have the repairs done in our workshop or by your preferred repairer. However, all repairs must meet NZTA requirements before the WOF sticker and MR2A can be issued. We emphasize the importance of being aware of your vehicle's condition before import to avoid unexpected costs.

At Fasttrack Automotive Compliance, we have a state-of-the-art mechanical bay operated by our expert mechanical team. If your vehicle does not pass the compliance inspection initially, we will provide a repair quote. You can choose to have the repairs done in our workshop, where we will keep you informed throughout the process. Once the repairs are completed, your vehicle will go through another inspection until it successfully passes and is fully compliant.
