Welcome to Fendalton Playcentre, located at 170A Clyde Road in Christchurch, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we offer a unique early childhood education experience for both children and their parents/caregivers.

Our playcentre offers a wide range of activities that change every day, ensuring that each child's interests and developmental needs are met.

From exploring, creating, and climbing to reading, singing, and experimenting, your child will have the chance to engage in a variety of activities. They can play music, wear costumes, have their face painted (or do it themselves!), garden, do carpentry with real tools, bake and cook, build sandcastles, swing, slide, dance, spend time in nature, and get messy. The possibilities are endless!

What sets Fendalton Playcentre apart is the involvement of parents in their child's learning journey. Playcentre parents bring their unique skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, enriching the learning environment for all. Our mixed age play allows children to interact with peers of different ages, fostering communication, sharing, and empathy.

We invite you to visit us at any time throughout the year. You are entitled to three free visits, giving you the opportunity to see firsthand what we do and meet our welcoming community. Please note that any information collected during the visit will be stored in an online system accessible to members of the centre, as well as regional or national employees of Playcentre Aotearoa. By completing the necessary forms, you are confirming your agreement to this and committing to maintaining confidentiality and using the information only for the agreed purposes.
