Welcome to Claddagh Haven Trust, a long-standing institution located in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our mission is simple: to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in living fulfilling lives within the community.

At Claddagh Haven Trust, we believe in providing a holistic lifestyle for our residents. Our residential support is designed to empower individuals and create an inclusive and supportive environment. Our homes are spacious and comfortable, both inside and out, with large organic and spray-free gardens that provide fresh vegetables and fruits to all our residents when in season. For those with a green thumb, there are opportunities to work in the gardens and nurture their love for nature.

One of our proudest assets is our exceptional team of staff who provide personal care and support to our residents. We encourage independence and strive to help each individual reach their full potential.

Our institution offers support and care in three different residences. Each residence provides a person-centered approach, ensuring that our residents are able to participate and thrive in their home environment. Our West Melton residence boasts the largest garden and two hectares of grounds, while our Rolleston home features a large garden, an orchard, a small vegetable garden, and even hens. The Lincoln home, located in the township, also has a small vegetable garden. While our Lincoln residence may be considered our most "urban" house, both West Melton and Rolleston are situated in the picturesque countryside.
