"Was almost 3 months without a stove renting a over $500 house and get told that a stove is not important. Then my rent gets raised while I had no stove. Would not recommend."
"As a landlord I would say youd be happy as they do regular inspections and if there is any issue they are onto the tenant instantly. However as a tenant I would not recommend Xclusive by any means. They are very hard to contact if you need them. You will find yourself leaving a lot of messages with their answering service. Be aware they are seemingly unable to compromise and made a error on my bond refund form and then rather than accepting their error pressed me to pay the figure they miscalculated. Yes there was a separate carpet cleaning invoice but like most people I just checked the bond form and sent it back and they counter signed it and the bond was paid. Only a few weeks later to contact me and say a mistake was made please pay this extra missing $67. My current new property manager said if it was them they would have accepted the mistake and not asked the tenant to pay several weeks later. I ended up getting anxiety from this. Edit: They have replied to my message above saying they replied to messages. Incorrect. They replied about half the time. Regardless of the $67 being GST or the price of a vacuum bag its irrelevant. As noted I was tenant for years paying thousands of dollars and I left the house fast so the owner could put it to market instead of waiting 3 whole months which no doubt helps them get a better sale price as the current market keeps going down. Absolutely unwilling to compromise on cleaning that I didnt agree with and no regard given to me in general looking after he house and paying 2 years of rent. I strongly suggest avoiding this agency if you are a prospective tenant."
