Welcome to The Cambridge Early Learning Centre, a community early childhood centre located on Fort Street in Cambridge, New Zealand. We cater to children from birth until school age, providing a nurturing and supportive environment for their growth and development.

At The Cambridge Early Learning Centre, we understand the importance of finding the ideal early childhood centre for your child. That's why we are proud to offer The Castle, a warm and friendly space designed for children from young infancy until 3 years of age. Our experienced teachers work within our dedicated Nursery Room (for 0-18 months) and Toddler's Room (for 18 months-3 years), ensuring that your child receives the care and attention they deserve.

In August 2006, we opened The Pagoda, a purpose-built environment catering to children aged 3 to 5 years. The Pagoda offers a sensory-rich and well-resourced learning environment, designed to extend the opportunities for children's play, learning, and development. We believe in acknowledging and exploring children's strengths and interests, nurturing their talents and capabilities.

Our teachers prioritize building strong learning relationships with the children. They skillfully notice, recognize, and respond to their individual learning needs. Through open-ended questions and a focus on inquiry and curiosity, we support oral language development. We respect children's preferences as they choose to play alongside their peers, with adults, or independently.

Consistency and dependability are key values at The Cambridge Early Learning Centre. Our teachers understand the importance of building robust and meaningful relationships with the children, providing them with a sense of security and trust.

Our learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, are designed to encourage active learning. We believe in fostering the development of important dispositions in children, such as courage, curiosity, trust, playfulness, perseverance, confidence, and responsibility.

Flexibility is a priority for us at The Cambridge Early Learning Centre. We offer flexible booking options, ensuring that we can meet the unique requirements of each individual family. There are no minimum restrictions, allowing families to choose the schedule that works best for them.

As we enter the last month of winter, we are all looking forward to seeing more sun and warmer days. We have some exciting events coming up, including the Oxford Pie order forms due on Tuesday, August 15th, and Daffodil Day & Yellow Day at the centre on Friday, August 25th.
