"We were 1hr early, but was accommodated Spacious and clean, but tired we had a private small garden, but the grass had not been mowed you sometime."
"Be careful when booking here, no onsite managers, nearest help was 10min away, smoke detector was faulty and date of manufacture was 2005 making the unit 4 years over the ten year maximum for use. First Cheap Chinese 9v battery was flat and the second same brand battery was no better and made a poor connection and continually beeped. Staff although friendly, struggled with English and were unable to sort the problem! Due to the late hour, not being able to move my children, I ended up driving to a store open until midnight to purchase my own detector. The age of rooms and the dodgy wiring were of concern, the wall mounted heater was not working and on inspection the points on the plug were burnt, the wall socket was smashed on one side of plastic that is supposed to protect from electrocution, completely possible for a child to be get fingers to live cables. These owners are walking a fine line with peoples safety. Be careful."
"DO NOT BOOK this Motel - I booked 4 nights for a work colleague online through their website and when he arrived they told him they couldn't find the booking. They could accommodate him the first night only. Oddly enough the next morning, received an email cancelling and refunding the booking. Very unprofessional"
"Felt unclean and rundown heaters didn't work couch quite dirty. Thought was overpriced for the room we received. Manager was quite demanding on payment before arriving. Plus side was close to riccarton."
