"We stayed here for two nights over a weekend in March. The hotel was in a great place, good value but a handy walk into the city. The rooms had amenities including a microwave, sink, fridge and iron. The late check in went very smoothly. Unfortunately, even though we were in a non smoking room (I believe the whole hotel is), the balcony was shared and the occupants of the room next door smoked a lot, leading to our room smelling of smoke despite having the windows closed. Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay."

"Great location with the park/botanical gardens across the street and easy 20 min walk to the city. Quite outdated hotel, musty and old. Bed was pretty comfortable and staff was lovely"
"Pricey for what you get. Rooms are dated, quite hot, need an aircon. There's no lift so you'd need to carry your suitcases up. If you need to do laundry, you'd have to wait for your turn as there's only one washing machine and dryer. Toilet and bathroom are okay. P.S. The internet was slow, connection kept dropping off."
