"Cathy and Grant were fabulous hosts. They gave us space but they were sociable and gracious. Our cooked breakfasts were amazing and the room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious and the aesthetic was beautiful. The lodge is set on park-like grounds with a stream/river directly on the property. Loads of beautiful birds singing and flying around and a resident dog that was friendly as. "I visited the Silverstream Lodge with a friend from New Zealand. This lodge is like an oasis that seems unreal. The warm family feel and welcome from the owner Cathy makes your heart melt. The homemade cooking was most welcome from usual restaurant dining. The place is divine and hard to describe how lovely it looks. The dogs are especially friendly and contribute to that home feeling you have when staying. It is almost worth visiting as a tourist attraction rather than as a place for staying."
