"Very clean and has everything you need. Quiet, peaceful location. Found this little note left by a child that explain it so well: "Had a great night of sleep, saw two possums in the woods, had a really nice fire"."
"thank you for staying with you all at your amazing home stead We had a awesome time from all of us Recreate NZ team would like to have us with your warmth hospitality"
"A hidden gem and a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lodge nestled quietly in the heart of lush and vibrant Kaimai Forest. Truly a sight to behold. We take the opportunity to walk into the backyard at night to watch the glow-worms, and even frolic at the waterfall."
"Honestly, expected this to be some bummy lodge, but it is not. The dorms are the least desirable parts, with thin mattresses, but the bunks have headroom to sit up, and the dorms also have heaters. The bathrooms are fairly open and frigid, the showers only about 5'7" but each toilet/shower has a cubicle and each bathroom has a heater. The shared spaces set this place apart. Piano, table tennis table, fairy lights in the central foyer, barbeques on the deck, and in the lounge, couches and an inviting open fireplace that radiates heat all the way through. There's also a kitchen with all the utensils you would need. Owners are the loveliest people you could meet. Overall, chuffed to stay at this place. Going back again as soon as I can."
"Damn nice lodge with a lot of accommodation! Quite far away from civilisation, but was a freaking chill place to hang with the teams!"
