Conveniently located on Oropi Road, just 5 minutes away from the vibrant southern suburb of Greerton, our cattery offers a serene and picturesque retreat for your beloved feline companions.

Nestled on a sprawling 4-acre property in the foothills of the majestic Kaimai ranges, A Cat's World provides a tranquil haven for cats to relax and enjoy their stay. Our location high above the Waimapu Stream creates an idyllic setting, attracting native birdlife such as tui and kereru, adding to the peaceful ambiance.

As the owner and resident caretaker, I am dedicated to providing round-the-clock care and attention to ensure the utmost comfort and well-being of our guests. Our cat accommodations consist of individual two-level apartments, each featuring its own enclosed hutch area and private run. With six separate alleys available, we can cater to the unique needs and preferences of every cat. For those seeking an even more luxurious experience, we also offer three-level apartments upon request.

With a rich history dating back to 1970 when it was known as Animals Unlimited, our cattery underwent a name change to A Cat's World in the mid-1990s. Since April 2018, I have proudly taken on the responsibility as the fifth owner and have diligently worked on renovating and improving the facilities to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

For your convenience, our cattery is open for pick up and drop off between 8am and 10.30am, as well as 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Please note that we are closed on Christmas Day to allow our furry friends to enjoy their own holiday. You can easily find us at 359 Oropi Road, Oropi, Tauranga 3173.
