Welcome to St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, located at Christchurch, Plynlimon Road, 57. We are thrilled that you have shown interest in getting to know our wonderful school.

Established in 1951 by the Sisters of Mercy and later guided by the Sisters of Jesus and Mary from 1961 to 1996, St Patrick's School offers a Catholic Primary Education for boys and girls from Year 1 to Year 8. Our mission is to provide a quality Catholic education that, in partnership with family and parish, nurtures the faith and unique gifts of every child, allowing them to shine.

At St Patrick's, we are guided by the mercy values, which shape our school community. The value of excellence encourages our students to give their best effort in everything they do, whether it's a new and challenging task or a daily routine. We believe in giving 100% effort every time.

Compassion is another mercy value that we hold dear. We teach our students to love and care for their family and friends, and to show kindness to those who are feeling sad or upset. We believe that compassion makes a difference.

Hospitality is a value that we practice at St Patrick's. We strive to make everyone feel welcome, whether they are new to our school or have been part of our community for a long time. We believe in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Our school operates on a term basis. Term 1 runs from Tuesday 2nd February to Thursday 14th April, Term 3 runs from Monday 26th July to Friday 30th September, and Term 4 runs from Monday 18th October to Friday 17th December.
