Welcome to Grahams Rd Medical Practice, a friendly general practice located at 76 Grahams Road, Christchurch, New Zealand. Since 1980, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality care to you and your family.

If you suspect that you may need a Covid-19 test, please give us a call at 358 3526. We offer FREE Covid swabs for our registered patients upon request.

All of our doctors consultations are 15-minute appointments. If you require a longer appointment, please contact our receptionist at 358 3526. We kindly ask that you arrive before your allocated appointment time to ensure a smooth process. If you arrive late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. Please refrain from booking appointments via email.

We will only inform patients of abnormal test results, which will be communicated through phone or text message. It is important to keep your contact details up to date. You are welcome to contact our nurse to inquire about any test results you have received.

For urgent attention, please avoid emailing as our emails are only checked once a day. Instead, please call 358 3526. We kindly request that you do not use email to make bookings, cancel appointments, or seek medical advice.

Please note that emails do not provide sufficient protection for your private medical information. Any clinical-related emails or phone calls to our GPs may incur a charge.

Payment is required at the time of consultation, and all accounts should be settled within one month of receiving the invoice. If paying in full would cause hardship, please consult our staff who will assist in negotiating an acceptable payment plan. Overdue accounts referred to a Collection Agency will incur additional costs for which you are responsible.

To request prescriptions, please complete the form on our Prescription page or call 358 3526. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing.

If you are experiencing symptoms such as cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, muscle aches, fever, loss of smell, or altered sense of taste, we kindly ask you to wear a face mask. Additionally, a RAT test should be completed on the day before seeing the doctor. If the result is positive, please contact our reception.
