"Returning after 6 years and the The Meadows Villa is as good as we remembered it to be! Clean with full features and amenities, as listed, and warm throughout the house in Winter! Kids were happy to run around the garden, following the owners to feed their cows, and having Netflix for the nights! Lovely, homely environment!"

"The entrace has no key and no lock. So the host can enter anytime and actually we saw signs that they enter when we were away. (We believe that the purpose of ontering unit was to turn off the electricity that we were using. ) We did't feel that we enjoy our privacy. I believe that it won't cost a lot of money to put a lock on the entrance door. Also the breakfast they provided was expired. We should have taken pictures, but cereal they provided was expired more than 2 years ago. We do not deserve to eat leftover. The unit was not so clean when we checked in. There was empty beer bottles at the side of the sofa and dishes and glasses were not so clean. My wife ended up in cleaning drawers too. This unit should not be losted as a hotel. More like a bording unit."
"Great house, nice hosts. An oven may have been useful, but we worked around that, hob and microwave were good.... We had poor weather, so a lot of lying water, so didn't do any walks in the grounds...."
"WE DID A 3 1/2 WEEK TOUR OF THE STH ISLAND. THE MEADOWS VILLA IN CHRISTCHURCH TOPPED ALL OF OUR OTHER 8 ACCOMMODATIONS. THE BIG FLUFFY TOWELS, BIG BATHROOM WITH GREAT SHOWER WATER PRESSURE, OWN GARAGE, FREE WASHING & DRYING FACILITIES. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST DELIVERED TO OUR DOOR EVERY MORNING, THE TRANQUILITY OF THE PROPERTY AND THE OWNERS BRUCE & JUDY WERE WONDERFUL AND MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME :))"
