The outdoor environment at our kindergarten offers an abundance of sensory stimulation. Children can hear birds chirping, see plants and insects, smell flowers, and feel various textures. Bug hunting is a popular activity, allowing children to learn about life cycles, the natural world, empathy, and caring for animals.

Meet Roger, the unofficial fourth member of our teaching team. Roger is our kindergarten rabbit who helps children learn and observe as he explores the environment alongside them every day.

Our programme caters to all children's interests, promoting their competency and confidence as learners while fostering a healthy mind, body, and spirit. We have a strong bi-cultural focus and encourage children to engage with and learn from their environment. Through play, creativity, and exploration, we nurture children's curiosity, imagination, and knowledge development.

We cherish hearing the stories of our whānau, some of whom have fond memories of attending our kindergarten as children. They want their own children to have the same enriching experiences enjoyed by many Kiwi families. Whether you have a family connection or not, we welcome everyone and love making new connections in our community.

Whānau (family) are always welcome to be involved in our sessions, supporting the kindergarten by bringing in kai (food) for morning tea, helping with equipment, and sharing their skills, language, and culture with us. This enriches our programme and strengthens our community.

We frequently take our children on walks into the community to visit the local playground, explore the red zone, and have picnics in the park. You'll easily spot us with our hi-vis vests on!

We recommend enrolling your child for at least two full days initially, gradually building up to five days at their own pace. This allows our teachers to get to know your child and ensures consistency in supporting their learning.
