Emma, one of our dentists, graduated from the University of Otago in 2008 and has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry. As a former dental phobic herself, she knows how important it is to provide gentle and patient-paced care. In her spare time, she enjoys watching old movie musicals and cooking for her loved ones.

Thata Koonne, another valued member of our team, achieved a Bachelor of Science at the University of Botswana before pursuing her dental studies at the University of Otago. As an anxious patient herself, she strives to make dental experiences more bearable by focusing on painless, comfortable, affordable, and patient-centered dentistry. Thata enjoys educating patients and helping them make informed decisions about their oral health. Outside of work, she keeps fit and enjoys music, literature, spending time with loved ones, and attending church.

Ashley, our Oral Health Therapist, graduated from AUT in 2013 and has been practicing in Christchurch ever since. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve a healthy oral environment through education, prevention, and patient-centered treatment. Originally from the States, Ashley appreciates the natural beauty of Canterbury. When she's not practicing dentistry, she enjoys going for walks with her dog, Chuppy, and going on adventures with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.
