"This is an older style community pub. It has a TAB, etc., and a restaurant. Appeared very clean and had friendly bar staff. I didn't get a chance to get a meal as the chef had called in ill, and they are struggling for staff (as many places are), so I couldn't hold that against them. To their credit, the bar staff informed us immediately when we arrived that the chef was off. They have a pub social club and appear well connected in the community. The pub caters to a mixed demographic. It's clearly a favourite with locals and a classic local pub, but probably not really my scene."
