Our founder, Andrew, has been a veterinarian in Hamilton and the surrounding farmlands since the 1990s. In terms of services, we offer complete on-farm service and advice for dairy clients and lifestyle blocks at our main practice in Gordonton. This modern purpose-built companion animal hospital provides a full range of treatments, from vaccinations to surgeries, for all animal species. You can find our clinic at 878A Gordonton Road, just an 8-minute drive from the Rototuna shops. Look for our distinctive cow and zebra logo on the building.

Our satellite clinic in Whatawhata offers complete on-farm veterinary service and advice, as well as consultations, vaccinations, and minor procedures for companion animals. It is conveniently located just a 7-minute drive from the Dinsdale Shopping Centre, next to the friendly Village Café, at 1 Rothwell Lane.

Our qualified and experienced staff are dedicated to helping you maintain and improve your farming systems. We provide annual vaccinations, health checks, routine surgeries, and emergency care for your cats, dogs, and other pets at our modern clinics and hospital.

At Global Veterinary Services, we take pride in being an exotic animal referral center. As the vets for the Hamilton Zoo, our team has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in birds, reptiles (including turtles and lizards), as well as rodents and small mammals.

In addition to companion animals, we also have experience treating a wide range of lifestyle animals, including sheep, pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, donkeys, and deer. Whatever your animal crew consists of, we are here to provide them with the best possible care.
