"A major draw-card, that is well used. Great for walking, running, young or old. Advisable to keep the ears open, as sometimes cyclists can be both rude and dangerous... so, be aware."
"A beautiful, scenic walk on a Sunday afternoon with the family and our dogs. Loved it."
"I strongly recommend not taking a bicycle down here. The surface is cobbles/paving, where there are various sections in desperate need of repair. I got my front wheel trapped in one of the worse areas and was very close to going head-over-heals; 47mm tyre width, so we're talking a generous gravel bike tyre here. C'mon Hamilton Council, you've got the sublime Ngaruawahia to Te Rapa trail leading onto this nonsense. There is simply no excuse to having a dangerous pathway open to the public! Also, I landed up having to exit the pathway due to a closure where the detour signage was marginal at best."
"Beautiful and Serene. I usually come across friendly people whenever I take a stroll down from the Waikato river walk point (Pukete Rd) till the Waikato Equestrian Centre. Watching horses chill around adds to the charm."
"Awesome walk along the river. Wheelchair accessible in most parts, a few steep pushes/hills. Non wheelie friendly areas identified in map photos"
