Welcome to Otumoetai Primary School, located in Tauranga, New Zealand. We are a primary school that prides itself on being a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) school, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for our students.

At Otumoetai Primary, we have a vibrant community of enthusiastic children, dedicated staff, involved families, and a supportive PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) and BOT (Board of Trustees). Together, we are all committed to our school vision of 'Actively Involved Learners'.

Our vision encompasses the involvement of everyone - children, staff, parents, community, and whānau (extended family). We encourage everyone to get involved in our school, as our success relies on the support and participation of all stakeholders.

We invite you to join us at various school events, assemblies, class trips, community and whānau meetings, and information evenings. There are numerous ways for you to contribute, such as being a classroom helper, joining the PTA or BOT, coaching and managing sports teams, participating in school reviews and surveys, and supporting our fundraisers.

Above all, we appreciate your involvement with your child and your commitment to their education. Spending quality time with them, reading to them, ensuring they arrive at school on time, providing healthy lunches, labeling their uniforms, supporting them with homework, sports, and extracurricular activities - all these efforts make you your child's number one advocate.
