Welcome to BestStart Peachgrove, a small and nurturing center located in Hamilton, New Zealand. With a maximum capacity of 36 children, we prioritize building strong connections with all of our whānau (families) and tamariki (children). By understanding the unique needs and aspirations of each family and child, we are able to provide individualized learning experiences and support their growth.

Situated on a quiet suburban street in Claudelands, our center is tucked away down a long driveway. As a classic community nursery and preschool, we take pride in being a part of shaping the future generation. Our small team fosters close relationships among one another, creating a tight-knit and supportive environment that we also aim to model for the children.

To ensure the most developmentally appropriate learning, our center is divided into two rooms. Each room is designed with your child's milestones, interests, and growth in mind, offering a wide range of equipment, activities, and resources. We believe in the power of a village to raise a child, and our nurturing and educational environment provides a safe and loving space for your pepi (baby) to reach their milestones and develop independence and self-management skills. We believe in nurturing our pepi so they can confidently spread their wings and grow.

Our Te Pūrerehua room is dedicated to play-based learning, where our Kaiako (teachers) support and encourage tamariki to become independent, confident, and capable learners. We view our tamariki as innately wise, curious, and capable beings, and through shared learning experiences, we help them nourish their roots and set a strong foundation for future learning. We prioritize bi-cultural learning, ensuring our tamariki have a well-rounded education.

The family atmosphere at BestStart Peachgrove is truly fantastic. Children love coming in to see their friends before and after school, and parents appreciate the personal touch of a smaller center.
