February 2019: "We booked a single room, but shortly before we started our travels, had an email from Kris offering us a premium room at no extra cost - he'd had a cancellation. Of course, we accepted. The moment we walked into the office, Kris made us welcome, showed us the room, and offered suggestions for where we might eat. I had some problems using the motel's secure wi-fi connection, and Kris made sure I was able to connect securely (after getting expert advice from outside). Nothing was a problem, and it was obvious that Kris' concern for his guests' comfort and convenience outweighs most other considerations.
