Welcome to Horotiu Playcentre, a fun-loving and vibrant establishment located in the beautiful semi-rural area of Horotiu, New Zealand. Situated at 89b Horotiu Bridge Road, our centre offers a warm and inclusive environment for families with children aged 0-6 years.

At Horotiu Playcentre, we pride ourselves on our extensive outdoor play area, providing ample space for our tamariki (children) to explore and connect with nature. From building sandcastles in the sandpit to swinging as high as they can, the possibilities for outdoor fun are endless. Inside, we have a wonderfully resourced play area that encourages imaginative play and learning through play.

We believe in the power of messy play and actively involve our tamariki in their learning journey. Whether it's baking delicious treats, creating masterpieces with paint, or constructing obstacle courses, our little ones are empowered to explore their interests and develop essential skills.

One of the highlights of our centre is our termly trips to different areas within our communities. These excursions allow our tamariki to build strong connections to the world around them, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding of their community.

At Horotiu Playcentre, we also foster a real sense of community among our whānau (families) and visitors. We value building relationships and enjoy getting to know each other over a cup of coffee. Our centre provides a welcoming and supportive environment for families, where everyone feels included and valued.
