We offer transition to school programs that prepare your child for their academic journey. With 20 ECE (Early Childhood Education) hours available each week, your child will receive top-quality education and care. Our extended day runs from 8am to 3.30pm, allowing flexibility for working parents. Morning sessions are available from 8am to 12.30pm, and afternoon sessions from 12pm to 3.30pm.

Fairfield Kindergartens Waikato is committed to affordability, offering 20 hours free from the age of 2. For any additional hours, the cost is $4.00 per hour. Please note that if you have attested any of your 20 ECE hours at another service, the cost increases to $5.25 per hour.

Children at Fairfield Kindergartens Waikato engage in daily mat time activities, where they participate in sharing information, stories, songs, movement, drama, and waiata (traditional Māori songs). This fosters a sense of community and enhances their social and communication skills.

Our daily schedule includes drop-off between 8:00am and 8:30am for morning sessions and full-day sessions. Kai time, where children help themselves to food, takes place from 9:30am to 10:30am. From 10:30am to 12noon, intentional experiences and care routines are provided. Lunchtime is at 12noon, followed by the end of the morning session and collection of children at 12:30pm. From 12:30pm to 2:45pm, intentional experiences and care routines continue. The whare is reset from 2:45pm to 3:00pm, and afternoon sessions and full-day sessions end at 3:30pm, when children go home.
