"despite the nurses being super attentive, the wait is brutal, I arrived at 9 pm and now it's 6 am and so far I haven't been seen by a doctor, a real disregard for people. if you can, stay away from this hospital, they are fast only if you are dying, otherwise you will die waiting."
"A hospital full of caring professionals. Excellent quality of care, world leaders in expertise. TRUST them, be patient, follow their advice."
"The staff here do wonders considering the work conditions and chronic understaffing. I don’t know what the board are doing to resolve it and I know there’s shortages everywhere right now but even more healthcare assistants would help. The wards are always clear and staff warm and friendly. To the nurses: You guys deserve the world, you’re the best, don’t forget that"
"The kiwi Indian doctor in the rehabilitation department is rude, unprofessional and lack of respect towards Asian women. He shouted to my mom in room when my grandfather was admitted to hospital (last 3 days of his life). The caregivers r awful, when visitors left, the caregivers don’t even pass water and pills closer to my sick grandpa. I completely have lost hope in this hospital. Please put a camera for your loved ones in this hospital you will know how they are really being treated. Hospital should take feedback seriously!"
"Our twin girls were born 24 March 2023. We had multiple staff across different wards taking care of us throughout our induction, c-section, NICU & hospital stay. Everyone was extremely helpful, made sure we were fully informed, educated and aware of our options and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to all the staff at Waikato Hospital!"
