"Took two years to explain they didn't have the expertise to deal with family trusts while I very nearly died multiple times in ICU and by my own hand. Also attempted to drop legal assistance when I involved a mental health advocate. Angela Smith & Dee Holmes were my assisting Attorneys. Following this could not answer basic questions about trusts. This was for a 'Family Trust' under the management of 'Norris Ward McKinnon (Trustee - Glenda Graham) Please contact me directly if you have an explanation or you'd like this removed."
"Community law Hamilton was utterly useless. They dont represent you, they give bad advice to stop you from continuing."
"Very Helpful...went out of her way...it helped immensely... Thankyou"
"This is a retrospective review. Many years ago I was living in Hamilton and was having difficulty with my employer. These guys gave me great advice and confirmed what I already knew, as well as providing some alternative points of view and I was extremely grateful as I was on my own with no support network in Hamilton at that time. They were very empathetic. Well worth a visit. Thanks Team."
"I went to this place seeking legal advice, not helpful at all, except to inform me of things that I already knew. My case was against the Fines Department, in August of 2010 I set up a payment schedule to pay off my fines approximately $5,500 at $35 per week and in November 2018 I went to court after paying this amount for over 8 years totalling over $12,000 and was told I still owed approximately $4,500 I was astounded since I had recieved no further fines during that 8 year period. Community Law advised me that I would need to get documented records of all payments made towards my fines from August 2010 up until November 2018 and to get a budget advisor all these things I had already set in motion before going to see Community Law. I appeared in the Hamilton District Court in 2019 with all my documentation showing that I had made payments over that 8 year period totalling over $12,500 towards my Fines and I refused to pay the courts Fines Department any more money, The presiding Judge convicted me of non payment of fines and I was sentenced to 2 months home detention and the remaining balance of my fines which I had proved that I had paid almost 3 times the amount towards my original fine of $5,500 were aquashed, The Legal system in this country is corrupt and the Community Law centre is helping to promote corruption, they don't give a dam about people's basic human rights they use the law to suit themselves and there own personal gains."
