Welcome to Ashgrove School, located at 48 Seddon Street in Rangiora, New Zealand. I am Leon Van't Veen, the proud principal of this incredible learning community. At Ashgrove School, we consider it a privilege to work and learn here, and we are thrilled to share our wonderful school with you.

Ashgrove School is a bustling, exciting, and creative school community situated on the North West side of Rangiora Township, just north of Christchurch. Our main focus is to provide the best learning experiences for the children in our care. With a long and positive history of serving our local community, we are committed to offering authentic and engaging learning opportunities for our students.

Our goal at Ashgrove School is to develop creative, collaborative, and confident children. We have high expectations for our students and their achievements, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to reach their goals. Our teachers and students engage in collaborative teaching and learning. By utilizing the strengths of our teachers within a hub, students are engaged in rich learning experiences in various ways. They have the opportunity to participate in small group and independent learning within their homerooms and across their hubs, making choices over their learning, goals, and pathways in collaboration with their teachers.

At Ashgrove School, we live and breathe our STAR values. We strongly believe in the partnership between our parents, community, and school, all working together toward the same common goal - for our students to grow together for success!
