"One of my favourite places to go for craft supplies. Was taken by surprise when I walked into the store at the Base one evening for an item which we decided to come back for, and was told that they were closed (the automatic doors opened and let us in). It was 8:01pm, my son had the item in his hand for us to purchase and go. Regrettably I walked out instead of asking if we could do a final purchase. I had not realised closing time had changed - which was my mistake. I had not expected to be allowed in the store if it was closed already - and then asked to leave."

"Very clean store. Lots of range. Huge isles. Very very well laid out. And great prices. I'd definitely recommend this store. Just remember the 2 hour parking limit to avoid a ticket. The base TeRapa are pretty savage at ticketing cars when are shopping."

"I've been shopping at looksharp for many many years since a teenager and they've always had the most incredible products stuff that you can not by any other store in New Zealand they import things from the states especially all the party stuff the halloween stuff that they have every year is so much fun because for a person like me every day is Halloween and it's literally my decor in my bedroom so I recently bought these cute little cats skulls that light up and I got some lovely glow in the dark stickers that you put on the ceiling and I put them on the ceiling of the double decker bus bunk bed of my little baby boy and he loves them very affordablewhere is if you were to go into a gift shop and find something that was obscure they would overcharge you look sharp as a very big store and ithas everything from balloons and wrapping paper for birthdays right up through to lighting and costume in forparties in the price that you pay it's great for things like Armageddon expo it's great for things like just a normal dress-up party or birthday party we've been using them for years for a parties."
