They then containerize and ship the batteries to battery smelters, ensuring compliance with the international BASIL Agreement. Through this process, we recover approximately 98% of the old battery for recycling. The lead is re-smeltered, the plastic is chipped and remolded, and the acid is reused, all contributing to the production of new batteries and promoting environmental sustainability.
