"Told me the work would be around $200, but then when I brought car in 4 whole days later I was told it would be around $380. Spoke to boss and he said apprentice said the $200 thing and he'd ask him not to do it again. I would have asked a few other mechanics had I known it was going to be that much more, but at that point I really had no option but to just get it done and pay up. No idea whether elsewhere would have done it for nearer to $200 or nearer to $380."
"While it seems the service most people have received was positive, unfortunately mine is negative. I sent them two slotted and dimpled brake disks, which evidently their brake machining tool was not appropriate for. As a result both disks were destroyed, and they just offered me half off the price for machining, $26. After contacting the MTA for mediation they offered to refund the $26 I paid. This for me is unacceptable. The pair of disks is worth close to $500. Ruining one due to inexperience or incompetence is one thing, but doing the second one is unacceptable. If you have high performance components and/or cars, I cannot recommend this company."
