Welcome to Te Tuhi Café, located at 13 Reeves Road, Auckland, New Zealand. We are a unique establishment that combines the love for food with a commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Te Tuhi Café is proud to be Aotearoa's first training café for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In partnership with Rescare Homes Trust and the School of Psychology at the University of Auckland, we provide in-house training and paid employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities through a community-based program.

Our café offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, where you can enjoy barista-made coffee and a delectable range of homemade cabinet food and made-to-order menu items. We understand the importance of catering to different dietary needs, which is why we offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options to suit everyone's preferences.

Accessibility is a priority at Te Tuhi Café. We have ensured that our premises are fully accessible, with step-free entrances, accessible parking, and toilets. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable when visiting us.

As a non-profit social enterprise, our café project is dedicated to creating a positive social impact. We are grateful for the support of our partners, including Ākina, impact measurement partner, Howick Local Board, J R McKenzie Trust, Lindsay Foundation, George & Willy, The Rotary Club of Newmarket (Inc), Rotary Club of Wellington (RCW), IHC Foundation, Foundation North, and individual donors.
