"OMG, such a horrible service, Sam talks big and does 1/10 of the what he promises. He left us in a very stressful situation our daughters wedding on 29th April at Chinmaya mission. We Paid 50% deposit when everything was finalized and the other 50% was supposed to be done on 29th but he kept calling us and asking us for money and said he has to order other stuff so we paid the balance on Friday. When we got in the hall my daughter just screamed and cried her heart out with what he did. He took the halls table without consulting them. He was supposed to put 30 round tables but he took the halls rectangle table and only 20 tablets were set up . There was no table for caterers,my son had to organize tables from friends to set up food. The mandap was just four posts and flowers, no chandini. The panditji was very upset for no chandini he promised chandeliers as this was my only daughter's dream to have chandeliers. He promised a mirror walkway and he put some creepy gold walkway that was only halfway thru, he put really old flowers and old lanterns in the hallway. He put massive, tall center pieces on the small rectangle table whereas we mentioned to hime several time that we wanted only small decorations as centre pieces. . He put up a broken decoration in the bridal room which fell on of the bridesmaids head. We called him 32 times on the night and he didn't respond. And have been calling him since. We are talking this matter to tribunal now. We were so embarrassed that the grooms family had no seats when they arrived. We had to use the chairs from that hall. The hall manager called number of time on the night, he didn't even turn up take his decorations. We were in the hall till nearly 1am ,thanks to Chinmaya mission staff for being so considerate. They kept the decorations for three days I don't think Sam should be in this business, his business licence should to taken off him. We pay so much money so we don't have any stress on the day but it turned out to be more stressful for my entire family. He is still not answering his phone."

"Sam is not man of his words, he ruined my engagement party and legal ceremony. He charged us $6000 and requested the hall to be hired from 1pm so he has time fully deliver the decoration that was requested. We made multiple meetings with him to discuss the decoration we wanted. He showed up to the premise around 3pm and did not even do the decoration near to what was requested, discussed and quoted by him. The hall was not fully draped, the chairs did not have any ribbons nor did the tables have any center sash and the center pieces we requested weren't even placed on the table, the stage on had white draping's with a few flowers and not what we requested. No wishing well or stand to put personal photos, even the cake table was not set up and the requested amount of tables were 30 and he only put out 25 tables. When confronted at the hall, Sam and his team of 4 fled the premise and turned off their cells, not responding to any of the calls made by us and my family members throughout the night. At the end of the night, he did not show up to take out the decorations as well, to which we had todo it our selves and store it safely with us. The next day, my husband showed up to his store but he hid and closed the door like a coward and did not face us for 4 consistent days of us trying to contact him. We have now returned all his items and taken photos for proof so he cannot damage the items himself and blame it on us. We have also escalated this matter to Tribunal Consumer Protection and Ministry of Justice and further are filing a police report requesting CCTV footage of him hiding in his own store when we arrived to confront him. PLEASE IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS REVIEW, I ADVISE YOU TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY TO WORK WITH. Sam is a coward and he does not deliver to his promises along with that he ruined my special night and left me traumatised and running around to get everything sorted. I am now anxious to work with any vendors due to people like Sam. HE IS A SCAMMER AND A LIAR."

"The most horrible business that will leave you devastated! He promises everything, takes your money up front then does not deliver at all. When you try to resolve it, he dodges all communication, makes excuses and leaves you completely helpless. Sam quoted to fully decorate our wedding. We had several mock-ups at his studio and the venue, all documented and agreed upon by him. Then, on the wedding day he didn’t deliver most of the things that he had showed and promised us. We were ultimately left with an un-decorated wedding merely 1 hour before our guests arrived. We were absolutely heartbroken and helpless. No reply to any form of communication on the day or ever since. After trying to resolve the situation with him for months, we have now turned to the Disputes Tribunal (Consumer Court) for help. Looking at the other reviews, it’s clear he does this to everyone."

"After much consideration regarding putting up a public review or not, I’ve decided to go ahead with it, as Sam’s service was absolutely disappointing to say the least. After the wedding, I reached out to him with a private feedback, however, have not received an apology nor a response back to my very respectful message. Sam made big promises which he did not fulfil at all, therefore, ruining the biggest day of our life to a significant extent. Simple things that were agreed upon, for example - garlands for the bride and groom and a sweetheart table for the couple, did not happen. Imagine the humiliation of going through Indian cultural traditions without garlands. If he could not deliver, he could’ve simply told us, and we would’ve made alternative arrangements. Sam was uncontactable and his communication skills were negligible even prior to the event. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anybody. Disappointing, arrogant and absolutely appalling service overall."

"Giving even 1 star is too much! Sam's service and communication was horrible. He didn't end up following through with completing our required decorations for our reception and left us to find alternative vendors only 2 weeks before the day. I have been trying to reach out to him to resolve this for the last 2 months and he has ignored all my calls, txts and emails. I would not recommend Sam's Event Styling."
