Ambury Park Centre Māngere Bridge, Auckland 2022
About the Business
Welcome to Ambury Park Centre, a unique institution located in Auckland, New Zealand. As a registered charity established in 1983, our mission is to improve the lives of individuals with physical, emotional, psychological, and intellectual disabilities through riding therapy with the help of our incredible horses.
At Ambury Park Centre, we offer a variety of services tailored to different age groups. Our school caters to students aged 13 and above, providing them with a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, we have a vocational training program for adults aged 18 and over, offering not only practical skills but also physiological and psychological therapies to enhance their overall well-being.
We take pride in our extensive facilities, which include an amazing indoor arena, outdoor arena, and function rooms available for hire. Our indoor arena spans an impressive 40m x 35m, while the outdoor arena measures 80m x 45m. These spaces are perfect for a range of activities, from horse riding lessons to events and gatherings.
As a registered charity, Ambury Park Centre relies on the support of the community to continue our important work. There are several ways you can contribute, such as volunteering your time to work with our horses, making a donation to help cover our running costs, or sponsoring one of our wonderful horses or ponies. Every contribution makes a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are proud to be a member of NZRDA (New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association), an organization dedicated to providing interaction with horses to improve health and well-being outcomes for individuals with disabilities or specific challenges. Through our partnership with NZRDA, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
Join us in celebrating the arrival of Spring with our Car Boot and Family Fun Day! This event promises to be a day filled with excitement and enjoyment for the whole family.

Reviews
"It is a Riding for Disabled centre, as well as a Private Secondary School and has a Vocational programme."
"Great regional farm park. Cycling trails and important birding location"
"I always enjoy going to APC. It's a good place to calm the children down, we struggled with a child in my class, for awhile, she attended twice to APC and she enjoys riding the horses now and always looks forward to it when we mention the trip to her. Awesome instructors they know how to deal with them as if they are just normal children."
"Was watching a friend who works and is educated from here concentrating really hard on her riding for the disabled."
"Beautiful place to visit and relax especially during springtime"
