Welcome to New Shoots Children's Centre - Hillcrest, located in Auckland's North Shore. Situated in the family-friendly suburbs of Birkenhead, Glenfield, Northcote, and Takapuna, as well as the bustling business hub of Wairau Valley, our center is conveniently placed for families in the area.

Housed in a repurposed architecturally designed building, New Shoots Hillcrest combines old and new elements, creating a unique and engaging environment for early childhood education. The center features a captivating internal courtyard, flooded with natural light through floor-to-ceiling glass roller doors. This space sets the stage for our custom-designed furniture and carefully selected natural resources, creating an inviting atmosphere for children.

Our home-like aesthetic, complete with comfy couches, cozy rugs, and high-quality light fittings, ensures that children feel comfortable and at ease while they learn and play. The courtyard itself provides a generous and secure outdoor area where children can explore, discover, and engage in open-ended play.

Inside, our bright and airy rooms seamlessly flow out onto the courtyard, facilitating interaction and collaboration among children of different ages. At New Shoots Hillcrest, we foster imagination, encourage uninterrupted play, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.

Our full-day service ensures that your child receives the attention and care they deserve. Our fees include high-quality teacher ratios that exceed Ministry of Education standards, and we provide nappies, meals, wet bags, bags, and hats/beanies.

Please note that we require a minimum enrollment of two days per week, and a $50 enrollment fee is due upon enrollment to secure your child's place. If you have two or more children attending New Shoots full time, you will receive a 10% discount on your eldest child's fees. While we provide nappies and food, please bring formula from home if needed.
