Dillys Cafe & Bistro 301 Church Street, Onehunga, Auckland 1061

"Great atmosphere and really quick service. My big breakfast was good portion wise although a bigger homemade hash wouldn’t have gone a miss (one I got was about the size of the old 50 cent coin). Was okay in terms of taste but nothing to write home about. Also no salt,pepper or sugar on the tables or brought with the meals/drinks. Getting a three because of the parking situation. They need signs up near the driveway advising of parking at rear and across the street."

"Came here for lunch with the family and friends. We ordered the Wow Waffle, kids waffle, a steak sandwich and steam prawn, pork and chives dumplings. Service was quite fast but food quality was pretty disappointing. Both the waffle dishes were small and rather expensive with minimal elements on the dish. The steak sandwich was OK and probably the most worth it dish in terms of price vs portion. Taste was just average with plenty of cafes serving better ones than this. And the worst dish which is a rip off must be the steamed dumplings which to start was pan fried instead of steamed. The dumplings were definitely store bought ones from the supermarket and the dish came with 4 tiny dumplings and some soy sauce (refer photo) for $15! For $15 you can get probably 2 big bags of frozen ones from the supermarket which is where they got the dumpling from anyway! Very disappointing and probably will not come back again after feeling so rip off."

"Really enjoyed our time at Dillys. Staff were friendly, the place was clean and the food and portion sizes were great. Apart from the Waffles and the fried chicken which could have been much hotter, other than that we had a lovely time and will definitely be back, thank you so much. Update: Went back for a second visit. Eggs Bene are our new fave"

"Very busy coffee shop, beautifully decorated, this is a shop that will increase the appetite of customers, there is its own parking space at the entrance, and there are also have outdoor seats, it is really happy to sit outside when the weather is good , the staff all good, will come again next ☺️"
