My name is Dee, and as the Centre Manager, I am thrilled to share with you the exciting changes we have made to our centre. We have recently undergone renovations to create an improved environment that better reflects the needs of our community.

Our aim is to create the best conditions for your child's learning, wellbeing, and care. Our central location on Waterloo Road is just a 5-minute walk to the Waterloo train station and nearby to Queensgate shopping centre. This convenient location allows for easy access and ensures that your child's day is filled with exciting local excursions and fun activities.

We utilize Storypark, our online parent communication tool, to keep you updated and in touch with your child's progress. Our qualified and experienced teachers are committed to caring for and nurturing your child. They build strong connections with each child throughout their early learning journey and go above and beyond to ensure that every child feels supported and their unique needs are met.

In our happy and nurturing environment, your child will be inspired, stimulated, and empowered to learn in their own unique way. Our two houses provide a homely atmosphere, while the spacious outdoor area challenges and excites the imagination. Indoors, we offer room for reading, rest, and engaging indoor learning experiences. Our tamariki love activities such as painting, waiata, and exploring the many different play areas available to them.

We believe in the importance of building a strong connection with nature and our local community. We have been a part of the local community for over 30 years, and we understand how it positively influences your child's learning experiences. We grow our own vegetables and herbs in our garden and regularly go on community excursions to places such as the Gym club, the Dowse, Capital E, and Te Papa.

We strive to make your child's early learning and care experience as affordable as possible. As a not-for-profit organization, all our efforts go back into supporting your child, the centre, and our community. Our Centre Manager can provide you with further information about fee and ECE subsidies that you may be eligible for.

Our team of teachers is guided by Te Whariki, New Zealand's Early Childhood Curriculum. They work closely with your child and respond to their unique curiosities by creating an environment that reflects their individual needs. We believe that involving families and whānau in our centre and their children's learning is crucial. Through platforms like Storypark, we connect with you and celebrate festivals to include families and whānau in your child's educational journey.

We constantly look for ways for your child to explore the connection between their community, their environment, and themselves. From growing vegetables and herbs in our garden to local excursions in the community, we provide ample opportunities for your child to engage with their surroundings.
