"Whatever you do, NEVER buy from Parmco - Awful customer service and awful warranty experience. As with many others, if I could give 0 stars, I would. Oven purchased less than 2 years ago had the heating element burn out so contacted for warranty. They took 3 weeks before it was finally replaced and they chose to replace it with a reduced power heating element without letting me know. Preheating the oven now takes half an hour (for reference it used to take 10 mins) and after contacting them to let them know, they initially refused to respond to the complaint. Now after many back and forth emails they say that they think the oven works fine so they won’t fix it. Edit: forgot to mention but the person who I was dealing with was very rude and unhelpful"
"Ceramic stove is very fragile. Worst of all can’t be replaced but need to buy whole new product. Installation and delivery costs extra. Not recommended at all."
"Here we go: Conflicting thoughts on this review. Let me start by saying five years ago I really struggled with sorting a defective product. After awhile and tricky negotiation, we came to an agreement. Fast forward to now; I have an oven that has had a part fail after 5.5 years. I contacted Parmco, an extremely polite Parmco staff person organised a repair agent to assess and repair. Repair took a couple of weeks as repair agent busy & waited for part. Oven now working fine. I feel apprehensive that I’m going to receive a bill even though I was told it’s all covered. However, at this time, well done Parmco. Do I recommend….on this service…Yes, on past performance, No. (Four stars due to originally organising a repair agent that wasn’t in correct area and refused to return calls.) Perhaps they’ve turned a corner?"
"Not happy with the product also the service. We installed a 90cm rangehood claiming to have suction capacity 1000L. However it works really terrible with very loud noise but barely air flow. Called the service within warranty period but they refused to diagnose for free. Does recommend this brand."
"Worst experience. If you try any warranty claim, expect comments such as we received; 'sell it on Trademe and buy another one'. We have bought a number of these appliances for our rentals. Despite the very frequent issue of missing manuals/accessories etc, we thought this is a minor concern in exchange for an alleged 5-7 years warranty. We bought an oven for our home. After unpacking, we found problems with the body of the oven. Drawer misaligned and will not close completely (Image B&C). Main door will not close without an abrupt clunk, and drop to the left. The glass on the main door sometimes fogs up with condensation. The frame is dented from the inside (only possible during assembly - Image A). We've been left to chase multiple avoidant people. They've tried every avenue of shifting the blame: *Noel Leeming damaged it (I told them that I took it home in an unopened box). *It was damaged in freight (they demanded pictures of the box to show that it had been dropped - I provided pictures of the completely undamaged box) *The installer dropped it (I provided images to prove otherwise - no external impact damage to the appliance, no gouges to our kitchen floor etc). After bringing it up with Noel Leeming (the seller), we found them to be as dismissive and as full of excuses as Parmco. Ultimately, the substandard item may not be a legitimate example of this companies overall quality, but they could at least have a minimum standard of customer service, and assist in the warranty process. They've washed their hands of our problem, and started ignoring our attempts at contact. Would actively tell people to avoid this company."
