Our team is led by renowned specialists in the field of pediatric ENT. Graeme, originally from South Africa, received his medical training at the prestigious University of Stellenbosch. With a wealth of experience, he obtained his MBChB degree in 2002 and went on to achieve his MMed / Specialist ENT qualification cum laude in 2010. Graeme further honed his expertise during a pediatric ENT fellowship at Starship Children’s Health from 2014 to 2016. He is a consultant ENT surgeon at Starship Hospital and has a special interest in pediatric airway compromise, sleep disordered breathing, sinus disease, and congenital neck disorders. Graeme has also contributed to numerous scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals and authored several book chapters on pediatric ENT.

Colin, one of the founding fathers of pediatric ENT in New Zealand, completed his training at the University of Auckland before pursuing a fellowship in pediatric ENT in Washington, USA. With over 30 years of clinical practice, Colin is widely recognized as a leader in the field of pediatric airway reconstruction. His contributions to International Journal publications and regular presentations at world-class ENT meetings have solidified his reputation in the international ENT community. As a former departmental clinical director, Colin played a pivotal role in establishing Starship Children's Hospital as a specialist entity focused on children's health.

Joining our esteemed team in 2022, Dr. Ed Toll is a fellowship-trained specialist Pediatric ENT Surgeon. After graduating from the University of Bristol Medical School (UK) in 2006, Ed pursued a Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship in 2011. He completed higher surgical training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in the Southwest of England in 2019. Ed also dedicated time to his research interests in regenerative medicine at University College London and served as a Clinical Fellow for the Complex Tracheal Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In 2020, he completed his Fellowship in Pediatric ENT at Starship Children's Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon at Starship in 2021. Ed's broad experience covers all facets of pediatric ENT, with particular expertise in pediatric airway disorders and head and neck surgery.
