Welcome to Pencarrow Kindergarten, a warm and nurturing learning environment located in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Our institution is conveniently situated at 63 Antrim Crescent, just off Wise Street, at the top of Ruthven Rd.

At Pencarrow Kindergarten, we believe in providing a holistic educational experience for children aged 3 to 4 years old. Our unique approach allows family groups to attend Kindergarten together, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. Younger children have the opportunity to learn from their older peers, while older children develop a sense of responsibility and leadership.

Our dedicated team of educators is led by Head Teacher Amy Bannister, along with Acting Head Teacher Jo Martin and teachers Sophie Jackson, Natalie Frew, and Judy Rutherford. Additionally, we have a Kindergarten Administrator and Teacher Support, Tia Tangipo, who ensures smooth operations and provides assistance where needed.

With a maximum group size of 30 children, we ensure that each child receives individual attention and care. Our sessions run from Monday to Friday, starting at 8:30 am and concluding at 2:30 pm.

Our academic year is divided into four terms: Term 1 runs from 25th January to 6th April, Term 2 from 24th April to 30th June, Term 3 from 17th July to 22nd September, and Term 4 from 9th October to 21st December.
