Welcome to Playcentre Lower North Island Region, located in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we offer a unique early childhood education experience for children and their families. With a high adult to child ratio, Playcentre provides a child-initiated program tailored to each individual child's strengths and interests. Playcentre is a nationwide charity with over 400 centers spread throughout the country. At each center, you'll find a community where you and your child can grow together. From building sandcastles to baking biscuits, painting to singing, working with wood to cutting shapes in playdough, every session at Playcentre will captivate and excite your child. Join us for our Messy Play Week, where families with children aged 0-6 can explore a variety of messy play offerings, from paint and playdough to sand and clay.

At Playcentre, we welcome children from age 0-6, and infants are welcome to attend most sessions and participate in regular activities. We also offer specialized sessions focusing on the needs of newborns to 1-year-olds, providing support and friendship to new parents.
