Welcome to Odettes Eatery, a charming all-day establishment located in the heart of Auckland City at City Works Depot. Our restaurant is a point of interest for food enthusiasts, offering exceptional Mediterranean-influenced dishes in a relaxed and stylish dining room and bar.

At Odettes Eatery, we pride ourselves on our commitment to seasonality, innovation, and locality. Our menu draws inspiration from the flavors of the Mediterranean, while also incorporating Levantine and African spices and global gastronomique influences. With an ever-changing, seasonal menu, our dishes are punchy and bold, combining simple ingredients with touches of the extraordinary.

We are dedicated to supporting local artisans and food producers from all corners of Aotearoa. By working closely with these incredible individuals, we ensure that our ingredients are of the highest quality. Dine in casual luxury in our timeless and elegant space, designed by renowned Auckland design stalwarts Simon James Design and Nat Cheshire for Resident.

Our talented chef, Jonah, brings his passion and expertise to Odettes Eatery. With a background in well-known Auckland establishments and experience honing his craft in Japan, Jonah applies modern techniques to classic dishes while prioritizing flavor above all else. He knows how to maximize the best of each ingredient, blending seasonal harvests with creativity and utilizing the best produce from local suppliers.

Leading our team is Operations Manager Poi Eruera, a passionate advocate for beautiful food and wine, exceptional service, and creating a vibrant atmosphere. With experience in hospitality both in Italy and Aotearoa, Poi brings her love for the bustle of a busy restaurant and ensuring both staff and patrons are happy.

At Odettes Eatery, we welcome both walk-in guests and large group bookings. For breakfast and weekend brunch, online bookings can be made for parties of 6 to 14 people. Lunch reservations can be made online for parties of 6 to 9 people, and for larger groups, we offer a set Feast menu. Please email us for more information on making a reservation.

Please note that we require a credit card pre-authorization to secure your booking, and we have a one bill/one payment policy. While we are currently closed for evening service, we encourage you to visit our Two Hatted sibling restaurant, Hugo's Bistro, located on Shortland Street.
