Welcome to New Shoots Children's Centre in Hobsonville, Auckland! Our centre is a vibrant and nurturing early childhood establishment that is located in the heart of West Auckland's thriving Hobsonville community.

Our architecturally designed building provides a warm and welcoming environment for children to learn and grow. The calming white walls create the perfect backdrop for the colorful artwork created by our tamariki (children), as well as our cozy couches and natural resources.

At New Shoots, we prioritize the well-being and development of each child. Our dedicated chef prepares nutritious and delicious meals, ensuring that our children are well-fed and healthy. We have different rooms named after stages of growth, from the Uri room (Māori for small seed) for babies to the Kauri room for our oldest children. Each room is staffed by passionate kaiako (teachers) who cater to the unique needs of each child.

Our outdoor area is a place where children can thrive, rain or shine. Spanning the length of our centre, it features gardens, sandpits, a bike track, and a mud kitchen. This space creates a sense of community and belonging, where all our children can play and learn together.

As an integral part of the local community, we actively seek ways to get involved. From Pink Ribbon brunches to Matariki celebrations and parents' nights, we value the connections we build with our families and the wider community.

Our fees include nappies, meals, wet bags, bags, and hats/beanies. We operate as a full-day service and do not offer short days or sessions. Our teacher ratios exceed Ministry of Education standards, ensuring high-quality care for your child. Minimum enrolment is two days per week, and a $50 enrolment fee is required to confirm your place. We require two weeks' notice for termination of enrolment. If you have two or more children attending New Shoots full-time, you will receive a 10% discount on your eldest child's fees. While nappies and food are provided, formula must be brought in from home if required.
