It's so refreshing to walk into an environment that celebrates every part of you, regardless of your age, size, background, gender, ethnicity, orientation, etc. I've battled some of those societal rules and constructs that come with my gender and ethnicity, and I've experienced first hand the backlash that can come with embracing those "forbidden" elements of feminine energy. I love that this studio embodies empowerment, through the way we move, what we wear and how we grow! Also love how The Garden works against diminishing the true origins of pole dance, crediting strippers rather than diminishing their work with an exclusively-fitness label.
