To reach us, travel north on the motorway, crossing the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge towards Orewa. As you pass the Silverdale and Wainui exits, take the next exit, #394, to Orewa. Continue northbound along the coastal road, passing through the charming town of Orewa, until you reach the hill at the northern end. Look out for Ocean View Road on your right-hand side, marked by our B&B sign. Follow the road to number 19, where you'll find our long driveway leading to the property.

If you're coming from Auckland, follow the road signs south towards Warkworth. After approximately 10 minutes, watch for the Puhoi road sign and keep left, exiting the main road at #388, which offers a free route to Auckland via Waiwera. Drive through Waiwera, over the next hill, and you'll soon spot Moontide Lodge with its distinctive red roof, perched high on the hill at Hatfields Beach. Once you pass Hatfields Beach, you'll find Ocean View Road on your left-hand side, clearly marked by our B&B sign. Drive up the long driveway to reach number 19.

The journey from Auckland to Moontide Lodge takes approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on traffic. Without traffic, it's a quick 55-minute drive. If you're arriving from Auckland Airport, which is located about 30 minutes south of the city, simply follow the signs north towards Auckland and cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Our lodge is easily accessible from there, following the directions mentioned above.
