"First visit , long drive day trip from Melbourne. Enjoyed our visit ,but it would have been better in summer. Park has a good future, will definitely visit again. Highly recommend."
"The mear cats were great the grounds easy to walk around, and a very relaxing place. A bit sad that a few animals were away cause of winter. Love to see a farm section at the zoo would have been great to see."
"Beautiful place with healthy looking animals. We loved the most snake talking part where zoo keeper let the snake wander around a bit while giving us lots of information about reptiles."
"The kids really enjoyed this new addition to the Zoos Victoria family and I'm glad we visited. The staff were really lovely and attentive considering the number of people coming in on the Australia Day public holiday that we visited. I think for it to be a better destination worthy of an almost 5hr round trip of driving for us, going forward, the park needs a few more updates/additions to be able to spend a full day there with some weather protection. It was a hot day on our visit and we were in full sun a lot of the time while walking between animals and displays. Flies for me were an issue in this weather both outside and inside the restaurant. Tip: Visit on a cooler day Allow 2hrs to visit inc a meal Small feed bags available for a few dollars Easy flat ground for prams Toilets outside entry in park plus in restaurant just passed ticket counter Water fountains with bottle taps available"
