In these trying times, Vinnies, alongside other organizations, is working tirelessly to support these families by providing essential supplies, shelter, ongoing advocacy support, and reassurance.

At Vinnies Auckland, our dedicated team is working around the clock to prepare stock and resources to aid families and individuals affected by the Auckland floods. Our food hub staff is diligently preparing food and essential items in collaboration with evacuation centers across Auckland. We are currently processing dry and ambient goods, sanitation packs, blankets, and cleaning products.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul has a rich history of serving the disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Our work is rooted in Vincentian spirituality, which motivates our members and volunteers to maintain a personal relationship of service with those we work with.

Our main focus is to alleviate the social, economic, and political pressures faced by the disadvantaged in our community. Each year, we visit hundreds of homes, providing assistance through furniture and food parcels. Our volunteers run a wide range of projects and specialized services to help those in need.
