Reviews
"This place is excellent. Good value for money and Dr Paul is very knowledgeable. Seamless treatment plan and procedure here. I will be back if I need to be and recommend this place to others."
"Deeply disappointed by both this companies products, and their utter disinterest in responding to my e mail regarding this. I used their "No Tox" eye serum for a period of 10 weeks with zero visible result. If you are expecting Botox like results from these products prepare to be disappointed, it is a clever marketing gimmick and no more. I e mailed the company over a week ago now expressing my unhappiness, and am still awaiting the courtesy of a reply."
"After a very expensive operation performed at a Remuera clinic to remove a bcc I was told of Dr Paul's practice which offers far more reasonably priced treatment. Subsequently I have had quite a number of small operations to remove bcc and other skin problems. Dr Paul has always been most proficient with a real consideration for his patients. I have no hesitation in recommending his practice to anyone requiring treatment."
"I recently had a second deeper operation to remove an early melanoma - which possibly grew as I missed my regular check-up due to covid closures. Over the years I’ve only ever had one pre-melanoma before as well as the odd mole removal. I was surprised how quickly I could use my leg after my recent ops. I was pleased I didn’t need a skin graft which would have been done if treated in hospital. Dr Paul uses cutting edge techniques (some he invented). I feel extremely fortunate to have such a proficient specialist who has such an incredible wealth of experience and global recognition. I can completely relax and place my trust in his expertise. I also admire the work he does for the community such as literacy programmes in low decile schools. He and his staff are always friendly and professional and I always feel comfortable. I also use his sunscreen lotion which I’ve found very good and a reasonable price. Linda McNair"
"I am adding a bit more detail here to an old review that I had written some years ago about this clinic. (The old review is shown below.) It’s taken me a few years to put this up. I should have written this a long time ago. A neighbour talked about this clinic that she had visited for mole mapping and so I decided to have some moles that I have on my arms checked up too at the same clinic. I was wearing a sleeveless top to make it convenient for the doctor to check. However, I was asked to strip down behind the curtains (which I thought was a bit strange) and within a few seconds, the Skin doctor barged in through the curtains without asking if I was ready. After a quick check, he said that skin cancer was more of a problem for some people and that I need not worry. So I wondered why I was asked to strip down in that case. My gut knew something was not done right but I wasn’t entirely sure. I discussed it with my neighbour when I returned and she was very surprised to hear that I was asked to strip down because she said she didn’t have to. I told my husband about this very unpleasant experience at the skin doctor’s but eventually decided to leave it behind me as a bad experience even though I was really smarting about it. l, however, left a one sentence negative Google review (shown below) without explaining the full reasons for my negative review. Only very recently did I finally decide that I should not let men like this get away with such blatant flouting of doctor patient trust. Old review: “Would have given a lower score if that was possible. :-(“"
