"Great supportive staff. Quality products"
"Came to exchange a Christmas present, was concerned about putting the money into a plastic giftcard but the friendly staff reassured that Kathmandu recycle everything that comes back to them and mentioned that they even recycle old tents and camping gear. I asked if by chance they recycle batteries as I found one in the car park - and they did!!! Great responsibility and sustainability practices Kathmandu - thanks!!!"
"Great location and friendly staff. Though this Justin character was Abit rude and didn't seem to interested in helping. Though huge ups to Gordan and Jamie who both were very friendly and we'll spoken."
"I could rate this place a 0, I without a doubt would. Very, very poor customer service as I had sadly experienced racial profiling this afternoon. The lady that works there with multiple ear piercings and blonde toned highlights had accused me for shoplifting this random spray object of some sort and I don’t even know what the actual thing is.. I had walked in looking for a kathmandu puffer jacket in black that had a hood & when I found the item I went to the changing rooms to try it on. As I was walking past the desk that is closest to the changing rooms, something had dropped and thought I might’ve knocked it down from a nearby rack. It sounded like it had smashed, I had stopped and turned back to try see what it was and if I had knocked it off a rack nearby and was hoping it hadn’t broken so I could just put it back. When I had found what had dropped it turned out to be a spray can object of some sort and she had looked at me with disgust and assumed that I had tried to steal it. Albeit, it was on the floor near the middle of the desk and I wasn’t actually near it. She was closer to it than I was as it was near the register but closer to the desk behind and she had turned around to get something or put something at the desk the object had fallen closest to. I had never felt knocking something down but I still thought I might have knocked something. Hence I turned back to find what had dropped because I wanted to put it back where it had been. After I found what had dropped, she had asked me if I had tried to steal it which isn’t a bright question because the can was obviously too large to fit in my pocket and I don’t even know what the can’s use is for. I was also carrying bags but they were in my right hand and the can object was closest to my left side so for a staff member to racially profile me and ask such a question, it would’ve been bright of her to had thought why would I try to hide such object in its size in my small pocket when I could’ve tried to put it in one of my bags.. It also wasn’t bright of her to ask such a question because there was a camera literally above us..After I had replied no, she had asked if I was sure which once again isn’t a smart question to ask because if I actually was trying to steal it, I obviously wouldn’t answer yes. I had received no apology and instead she had just turned her back. Horrid. After she did, I had said that I don’t even know what it is, referring to the can object that had dropped as I actually had no idea what it was. Instead of walking in store to be greeted and asked if I needed any assistance, I had been racially profiled and traumatised. Disgusting. I know she had profiled me because I am a young person of colour and happened to be the only person of colour as a customer in the store when she had racially profiled me.Such a shame, I had walked into this store with high hopes looking for my desired jacket and left traumatised. First and last time stepping foot into this store. Absolutely appalling. I definitely will not be coming into this store again unless to file an in person complaint."
