When you enter our Tui (infants) room, you will immediately feel a sense of peace and calm. Here, children interact with each other and their teachers, learning valuable social and curiosity skills. Our close relationships with families ensure that we follow the children's care routines and help them develop a sense of belonging and connection. Our dedicated teachers provide a range of varied learning opportunities to challenge and stimulate our youngest learners, allowing them to discover and explore their world.

In our Kakapo Room, our toddlers have an absolute blast! They engage their senses through messy play, artwork, and waterplay. This enriching environment encourages their independence and helps them make safe choices. Our toddlers also have the opportunity to socialize with children from different cultures, fostering friendships and a strong sense of identity. In Kakapo, our teachers implement Te Whāraki, the New Zealand curriculum, and we see the children starting to show their own learning interests.

From the age of 3, our toddlers transition into the preschool classes, Kowhai and Pohutakawa Rooms. Here, our preschoolers gain the essential Be School Ready skills that will give them the best start once they begin their journey at school. We focus on teaching them independence, social competence, and the development of their unique learning interests. Working in collaborative groups, our children become fully engaged in their learning with our skilled and knowledgeable staff. This approach ensures a successful transition to school and builds their confidence for the future.
