"On a sunny Autumn day, this was the most amazing art encounter I've ever had. If you go to their website your can see great photos of the incredible artworks, and the stunning location, but nothing is better than being able to touch the art & be awed/dwarfed by it!"
"An absolutely stunning landscape with incredible sculptures from artists around the world enhanced by the presence of exotic animals. Incredible vistas and easy to walk paths with few visitors to interfere with your experience. This is a must see attraction when visiting New Zealand. Tickets must be purchased in advance and pay attention to when the park is open to visitors as this is a privately-owned expanse, and only open during certain times of the year. Visit as many sculptures as you can in the time allowed. Don't waste time picnicking or doing anything else. Don't forget to visit the giraffes and zebras!"
"Cool art and animals. Takes around 2-4 hours to see everything. All money from tickets goes to charities."
"A very beautiful and picturesque place it is a hidden gem on the edge of Auckland, the trails are secluded and quiet but high quality and a rare place in New Zealand to find a reserve with exotic forests managed as well as indigenous. Great example of sustainable use of land! And there are in it Beautiful landscapes, easy to walk through fields and forests. A little hard walking. Very few visitors, so you'll be fully booked to enjoy it. Be sure to visit the water tank. And here it is Great campsite with plenty of space, bike trails suitable for both family and kids. I wish there was water access but a short drive to Port Albert for wharf fishing would be a great option."
"This great attraction should not be missed. You will have lovely inspiring time during this visit of one of the best outdoor sculpture parks in the world. A couple of tips. 1. Do not waste you time for a picnic during open hours as it's only open for a half of day. Eat after you explored as many sculptures as possible. It's almost impossible to see them all in a limited time in enjoyable pace. 2. Try to participate in the talks about different sculptures. It gives you much more understanding if significants of this place. Enjoy!"
